An idea would be sims in Space.
In stead of a map over the city it would be a map over other planets.
maybe they could choose to be an alien or human
maybe they could travel to earth and scare people there with their Space ships; or invade other planets?

Just thoughts

The next (& final) expansion pack is supposed to be the Sims in a future world, but didn't they also say that about Lunar Lakes?

You get aliens in the current game after you install "Seasons", where they scare people with their probes.
