I think we really need casual woohoo in the game. If you've read some of the latest Sims 3 updates posted in the forum, Rod Humble talks about the totally revamped social system in the game. Things are more complex and so woohoo should follow! For instance you can sleep with your boss to get a promotion, why should you have to be in love with your boss to do so? Also, I really want to have something like an easy girl or a womanizer in the game.

For situations where its not your boss, it could be based on attraction level, or if you had a recent dream to woohoo. If you had the equivalent of three bolts then you could hop into bed at friend level. If you recently dreamed that you would woohoo later that evening, your standards could be much lower - both for relationship points and chemistry. Also during any "Dream Date" scenario woohoo could take place.

Also just because you're not in love with your boss, does not mean that your boss won't be in love with you. They say in a few of articles that sims can talk with different tones including friendly, flirty, or adversarial. Another one could be flattery, or schmooze. This would get easy relationship points with the boss or hot sim, but keep your relationship points at relativity the same place.

Also, traits could decide at what point a sim is willing to woohoo. Its pretty ridiculous that every sim woohoos at the same point. A partier might woohoo at fifty with two bolts, or a family oriented sim might only woohoo at 85 and two bolts. A conservative sim might only woohoo when engaged or even married.
I completely agree. It drives me mad that sims have to be in love to WooHoo. I also love the idea of sleeping with the boss.
These ideas are great! You've put a lot more thought into this than I have I think. But you would already know that. :Smile
I love the idea of "Easy Girl" and/or "Womanizer" Traits! Big Grin

There's not much I can add to this idea, to be honest! All I can say is I agree with everything you said. Although, I have a feeling a few people will be a little frightened of this idea. Not that I think casual WooHoo is wrong to put in the game, it's just that some people seem sensitive about these kind of issues in TS3.

I foresaw people's sensitivities and I have a pretty sweet argument.

1) I think its more damaging to teach kids that having s3x all over the place in rather public places is desirable and exciting. I mean come on, photo booths and elevators, and having everyone in the show rush over and cheer?!? Thats waaay more than suggestive.

2) Having the ability to sleep with the help and in the memory for it saying "Wow, what exactly am I paying for?" - or something like that suggests prostitution.

3) The romance aspiration is sluttier than many many people are in their entire lives...combined. I mean really, having 20 lovers simultaneously is superhuman. Also some could argue that sims wanting to have s3x with multiple people while married condones cheating.

4) Plus, this would not raise the rating as none of it is graphic content.

Regardless, this is a game and nothing that I'm suggesting is offensive or obscene. It's an extremely realistic addition that would enhance gameplay drastically. I feel like an addition like this is almost as huge as (well not really) as something like lifestages.

By the way Mrs. Grint I know you're just pointing out other people's possible objections.
I think different woohoo's would be cool..as long as it didnt go to far and raise ratings.

I agree.
I'm not too keen on the idea sleeping with the boss. Especially since there probably wouldn't be any repercussions for getting caught. Case and point: Two Sims work as a senior exec. in the business career. One goes on a date with the boss and the other one finds out. That person probably won't be able to rat the other person out.

Another point is that the culinary career is impossible to do that anyway ???

That's a good point. But who knows, the sims social system is much more complicated than before. Besides, sleeping with the boss will be implemented into the game. Its the same thing as with a professor in university...it really boosts your grade. I believe the designers even talk about it in one of the articles.
Yea but you had to "love" the professor

yeah. you could "woohoo" at a party and you don't have to be in love.
also there are other ways to get promoted maybe their married && when you sleep with them, you could get fired if the boss's spouse catches you.
