Nah. I don't think people anywhere else except America [and possibly Canada, after watching that video, though honestly I thought Canadians had more sense than that!
] think we sound like THAT.
Seriously, have you never heard someone from Liverpool? Scouse? ROFL.
To be honest, until you visit England [and this could be said for any country in the world], then you really don't have any kind of real perception of how we are. See, I've been to America a couple times, so I know where I'm coming from with this. XD

Ugh, that was Russel Peters wasn't it? I hate him. You all know what an ignorant American is? Well he's a prime example of an ignorant Canadian. Yup. And unfortunately some Canadians do think that English speak like that. You see, think of Canada like a clean, blue pond... and the US as a big fat factory dumping all of its waste into the pond. Our culture has been ruined by America. And that's really why I've never actually been all too proud to consider myself Canadian.
I'm sorry if that came off as Anti-American, I like America... it's just that I think that The US has caused a lot of problems lately.
I basically agree with everything you said.
I have a lot of respect for Canadians actually, because they get a lot of stick from Americans [who doesn't, to many Americans, America is the greatest country to exist, even though it wouldn't even exist if it were not for other countries, including England], and they seem to have a better perspective on the real world.
I don't know how Russel Peters is, I was just referring to those Canadian girls in that video posted on the previous page, doing an 'English' accent.
Tbh, I think America causes problems everywhere, I just don't think they know it too well, hehe.
If I asked an ignorant American who won WW2, what do you think my answer would be? XD
LOL, me and my mum were joking about his this morning.
Anyway. Props to what you said, I understand.

LOL, when they didn't enter the war until 1941... We (UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.) had been fighting long before. I guess they figure because THEY dropped a bomb which affected millions of INNOCENT people they won... boo.
LOL. Ikr. Come in at the last second and they think they won, while the rest of us had been busting out butts for years. {rolleyes}
Ah well. It is annoying, but it is sort of funny at the same time. I mean, it gives you a good laugh at their expense, and the expense of your frustration. x]
At least the Americans on here are really cordial and cool. You rock, haha. =]]]
LOL, America can win any war they want now, seeing as they've started most of them.
But yeshhh... the Americans on here are cool xD

LMFAO. I actually laughed out loud at just the way I read that in my head.

Thanks, for that Robert. Nicely put. {freaked}
I am American. Yes, I was born in America. BUT, I am not ignorant. I am aware of the world around me. If it wasn't for England, America wouldn't be called America and we wouldn't be speaking English. England is one of the foundations of the Western World and Western Culture. I know that many Americans wouldn't agree with me on this.
America butchered/is butchering English. Period.
And who did win WW2? Wasn't it the Americans? I always thought so
I'm so sorry. {unsure} I didn't mean to offend you or anyone. It's not the average American we're talking about... just the ignorant American, LOL.

No, honestly.
