RIP to all the dead diggers.
If you're British, it's hard to think of ANZAC day without thinking of Gallipoli, which should give every Australian the right in perpetuity to punch any British politician on sight.
And the old men march slowly, all bent, stiff and sore
The forgotten heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, "What are they marching for?"
And I ask myself the same question.
Let's hope to God Australia never sees another war where an entire generation are butchered for lines on a map.
We got the day off! I don't remember having last ANZAC day off.
I don't think I did anything productive. Has anyone seen the movie Gallipoli with Mel Gibson? We watched it last year.
I'm hungry!
Tis be happy again, but still a sad day for us.
It is super sad. ): Minty was super friendly and helpful, and I'm sad to see him go that way. Let's try to not let things get to us too much, yeah? It sucks, but all the drama stops people from wanting to join.
Hey!! thought I'd drop by and say hi. Is it me or does the forum look the same like in 2009 or something? :O *nostalgia*
