I once met a boy while on holiday in Florida. He was the darnest cute thing ever, and yes, he was American. He was staying at my hotel, and I met him at the pool (nice body alert if you know what I mean, haha) and we sort of got talking in the pool because we kept smiling at each other and racing each other (still not talked at this point) until eventually we just started laughing and chatted about where we came from and what we'd done on our holidays so far. Then I gave him my room number and he came round mine in the evening and we went to the hotel bar sort of place and had something there. Then next day we didn't see each other until evening by the pool (pools are so pretty at night, don't you think?) and we hung around there at night. Day after we both went to Blizzard Beach together and I spent the day with him (admitedly abandoning my family lol) and that evening by the pool we kissed. {blush}
That is my favourite romance I have ever had, it's like a dream come true for me, because the rest of my romances are the lamest in this world. American guys have some kind of charm I just adore. {wub}

Well, we met when I was on holiday in Florida. One of those coffee shop meetings, you know? It was, like, my 8th time here, so I knew the area pretty well. And there was this little coffee shop in the middle of this old-time town just 15 miles or so from our (me and my friend, Heidi's) hotel. It was simply to die for. Everything was so perfect and cute. Well, we sit down with our delicious frapps and we start talking about politics at Heidi's work. And a few minutes into the conversation, this guy comes over and starts helping me to convince Heidi that her boss is out of his mind at that she should quit. It didn't even catch me off-guard. It was weird, but he just clicked with us right away.
So we sit there talking for a bit, and after a while we ask him to join us as we stroll around town. He accepts, and from then on we were inseperable.
Cute, eh? But like I said, lame.
And that's adorable, Cassie.
It does sound like one of those things out of a story book.
Haha, I did have a feeling some people would think I was lying, but there's no point in trying to convince otherwise. But it is all very true. And one of my best memories of my life so far. Florida is a great place. {yes}
Lying? I don't think you're lying...did I sound like I was implying that?
Ahhh Cassie, I love your story. And both of you met boys in Florida...mmm, maybe I should go!
I remember one time I was at this party, and I saw this really hot guy walking by with a batman shirt and I just said, "Hey Batman." He came over and sat next to me for a while and then asked me if I wanted to go outside. We went outside to chat with some other people. He was a perfect gentleman the whole time, just casually sliding his arm around me...nothing sleasy. Then I had to go because all my friends were leaving and we exchanged numbers. I kept on forgetting something in the house, and I saw him each time I went back in. The third time, when I was leaving he was right at the door and as I was stepping out, he just grabbed me and kissed me. It was such a surprise...quite literally took my breath away. Then we dated for a few months.
Oh I don't think anyone thought you were lying, Cassie. Just that its a wonderful story.
Oh, I never thought Bambi or yourself did, I as just saying that I am aware it sounds too good to be true is all, but it is.
That Batman guy sounds really sweet, aww! I can kind of picture the scene in my head, haha.
Yes, it's like a fairytale. Just a...modern day fairytale.
And that story's cute, too! Such cute stories, everyone.
Maybe I'll share another one of mine in a bit...
AHHH!!!! He just called me. I'm sooooo excited.
OMG! Wowsies! What did he say? Anything adorable?
Yessss...this guy is amazing.
After we talked for a while, he asked me if I knew he was going to ask me for my number. Then I said I thought it was probable. Then he described to me the circumstances of how he decided to ask me. He said that when I came down the steps he was looking at me and then he snuck a few glances while I was standing sort of near him. I told him that I saw him looking and he seemed sort of embarassed that he was so obvious. Then I told him to feel better because I had purposefully stood by him because I thought he was cute. He was realllly surprised that I had actually intended that.
Then he was talking about how he's shy and he normally never asks girls for their numbers. Of course he's just so gorgeous they talk to him first
He told me about how he just worked up the confidence to ask me, and I'm so glad he did. We talked on the phone for an hour or so and he's so smart and funny!
Mmmm....
