Tropical Island. You ddn't say that there wasn't a fancy resort with a massage parlour and buffet there!

WYR play a sim with a "pleasure"(I think it's called that) aspiration or "romance" aspiration or "knowledge" aspiration?

A romance sim. They want to do more than a knowledge sim, but the latter is easier to play but..

WYR sit in a dark room with snakes, or fly a plane without knowing how to do it?

Yeah I prefer romance sims! Ummm depends whether the snakes were poisonous...actually I'd probably do the snake thing cause it isn't putting other people in danger (i.e. in a plane I would most likely crash into a building that has half the world's population in it)
WYR spend a week wearing bright flourescent colours in childish styles or spend a week wearing old granny type clothing?
