(Sorry, I don't know why I'm so pedantic at the moment but hopefully Christmas spirit will mean that I'm forgiven!)
Very good idea - it would be so cute! How about sims using their traits/skills to make or choose gifts for others. So painters would give art and those good at cooking would make birthday cakes etc.

Hey! Cooks can make birthday cakes! Kinda...they make cakes and then add candles later. But still!
I want a new neighborhood for TS4 since it's already out. Haha.
