Considering some of the stuff that gets into the food they sell at the supermarket, perhaps it already does? Voluntarily however, no thanks!
In the Far East, they eat spiders deep fried, which probably kills any of the goodness you could get from eating them anyway.

Would you continue to sit on a seat on the train out of politeness, even if the person sitting next to you was incredibly smelly, all the other seats were taken but there was no-one standing to 'offer' the seat to, therefore making your only other option standing?
