Same here. Though it's no longer like that. You can't find it just by typing The Sims 3 or Sims 3 in anymore. Or if you can, it's on one of the later pages that nobody looks at. So how do more newer members find the site? I guess it must be more difficult to find the site since it changed names and such.

Typed in http://www.sims3.com thinking it would be the official site, but it turned out to not be official.

I thought it looked good though, so I registered. Found some nice people here, got on the Dark side, lol, and now I am hooked, lol!
