Re: A New and interesting color...
Wow, lol, yes! Nice idea! It would be funnier if they could come up witth more interesting colour names. And also, have multi-colour fonts that change automatically throughout the post. They always look so neat and pretty. Smile

Re: A New and interesting color...
Well, I think it would be a code set so that it changes each letter to a different color.

I think it can be done, but I am not certain.

Hmm, now you have me wondering, lol!

Re: A New and interesting color...
Hehe, you're welcome. Wink

Anyhoo, I'd just like to take the time to point out how lame I am. See, I'm from England, and obviously we use slight spelling variations. Now, when I first saw this thread, I could not for the life of me figure out what 'color' was. Haha. I mean, I'm use to the way Americans spell things now (heck, I find myself using their "method" from time to time), but for some reason I am particularly slow tonight and found it hard to connect 'color' with 'colour', although there's only one tiny difference between the two.

Haha, all done. Sorry...good thing I warned you I was lame. Wink

lol!

That is funny! I always thought that "colour" was a misspelling and that the person would correct it!

Re: A New and interesting color...
No, English spellings are very different from Americanisms of words. I'm trying to  learn to adapt to the different cultures and how they see things Smile.... It's really quite hard, everything means something different to each person. Tongue

Re: A New and interesting color...
The biggest differences I've noticed coming from England to America are:

1) phrases - some phrases don't mean quite the same thing, which can be awfully confusing sometimes.

2) the 'u' - such as in 'colour' and 'favourite' and 'honour'...I use to call America "lazy" for leaving out the 'u'. Wink

3) the 's' - such as in 'realise' and 'apologise'...America uses 'z' instead of 's'...funny, huh?

Anyway, those are the only major ones I can think of. But you get my point (hopefully). Wink

Re: A New and interesting color...
Yes, I completely understand. I don't particularly mind the Americanisms myself, however, in England it is common-knowledge by most that the country as a whole gets very irritated by the butchering of the English language by America. Don't get me wrong! I'm not involving myself in this, I really don't care. If I did, I wouldn't be moving to America. I'm just stating the general opinion in England. Wink

I always wondered how all these changes evolved, though. Was there really any need for them? :-\
