The Odd Challenge
The Odd 1.0

The Odd 1.5

A basic run-through of the challenge:
I only have Base Game so I will not be doing the No Respect or Paranormality restriction.

The The Odd challenge begins with one Sim of either gender that is a Young Adult or Adult. They must have appearance traits that define them from the rest of the Sim world (such as skin color, eye color, hair color, etc). They must also have all of the following traits:
Insane
Inappropriate
Computer Whiz
Loner

The Oddlings all come from The Oddessy, so they don't know how to act among Sims. As such, they tend to stay away from Sims, as Sims find their talk of their homeland insane. Machinery is available in The Oddessy, so Oddlings are skilled in Computery. Oddlings, however, have somewhat picked up on Sim customs and have developed a personality trait that you may choose. The Founder's traits are all dominant, so all offspring must have these traits.

The Oddling's last name must be The ____, with _____ being an adjective. After a Sim Baby is born, no one may move in or out of the house until the heir is chosen, as Oddling young are extremely rare and need to be protected at all costs.

As Oddlings do not have a very good sense of judgement, they flock to the first single specimen of the opposite gender that is at a worthy age (YA or A). If this sim has commitment issues or dislikes children, tough nuts.

Restrictions
Solitary Restriction
As Oddlings are not very fond of people, they do not like keeping a full-time job. The Founder and Heirs may not keep a full-time job, they must be self-employed instead. As they do not wish the same on their mates, their mates are only allowed Part-Time Jobs. If a Mate has a job, they must quit before the next work day. When an Heir or the Founder reaches level 10 in Charisma, this restriction is lifted and the Founder, Heirs, and Mates may get full-time jobs. If two members of the family get Level 10 in Charisma, Oddling children are not required to have the Loner trait.
Ill-Mannered Restriction
As Oddlings are new to the Sim world, they do not know how to behave in public. After the Founder or Heir reaches level 5 in the Business, Political, and Journalism career tracks (in no particular order), Oddling Children do not need to have the 'Inappropriate' trait.
No Respect Restriction, Ambitions Only
With their talk of far-off Oddessy, Oddlings usually don't have respect from the science community. No one in the family may get a job in Science or Medicine before this restriction is lifted. This restriction is not present if the user does not have Ambitions. The founder or an heir must get level 10 in the inventing skill. They may then try to get to level 5 in either the science or medical career track. If they are fired or demoted before this happens, the career is locked and the Oddling may not try again, only a different heir. If they do succeed, the Medical and Science careers are unlocked for all Oddlings.
Paranormality Restriction, Late Night Only
Because there are no other Oddlings, Oddlings flock to the next best thing. All Oddlings must befriend a Vampire within 3 days of their turning into a child. The heir must befriend a Vampire within 3 days of creation. If an Oddling loses their vampire friend or does not befriend one within three days, the Oddling family is cursed and all future heirs must be turned into Vampires. This restriction is lifted if an Oddling mates a vampire and is turned into a vampire via neck. If the family was cursed before this happens, the curse is lifted but not the restriction.
