I posted this on the EA forum. I was so frustrated I almost cried, and thought about destroying my Sims 3 dvd's. :mw_fist:
I'm frustrated. Sims 3 should be the awesomest
game in the world, but it has become the most frustrating game I've ever
played. Bugs, bugs and bugs, diagnosing problems, searching and reading
about them on forums, trying to fix them, finding more problems,
needing mods to solve them, backing up the game, installing patches,
update the mods, putting CC back, check for new updates, finding more
bugs...
My problems this week: I had a family in Bridgeport.
Sometimes sims fell through the floor, from the second floor down to the
bottom floor, or they fell under ground. Sometimes resetSim worked,
sometimes not, and I had to move the family out to get the sim back.
I read that maybe the town is corrupt, so I moved my sim family to
Riverview instead. After spending hours building a house there, and
moved my family in, I got the problem with the game freezing every 10
seconds. Lots of people have that problem and there's no solution yet.
I'm seriously thinking about quitting. I want to enjoy the game,
but it's impossible. I even bought a new gaming computer for $2000 in
January only because I thought that Sims 3 would run better. But I was
wrong.
