Hey guys. I thought I should keep you updated about the story.I AM working on a new chapter, but its hard to tell when its gonna be done. I haven't abandoned you guys believe me

No rush, Fraroc, don't worry. We're always here, hanging around, waiting for a story.

Hey guys! Happy late Halloween! As a "belated halloween gift" or whatever, here is a new chapter of Fury! Happy reading!


Chapter Twenty-Eight






(knock) (knock) (knock)

A young, short haired brunette raps on the front door of Jack’s house, there is a look of concern and desire in the girl’s eyes. It is evident that she is searching for something and that she hopes that visiting this stable will end her search. It was just mere days after the black mare arrived at the stables.




Within seconds, the young, pretty, redhead known as Karilla answers the door.

“Hi! Can I help you with anything?”
“Uhhhh...Yeah, Is there a Mr. Jack Silver around?”
“He’s at a horse show out of town, and he’s not coming back until much later today. I’m sorry....If you tell me who you are and what you want with him, I’ll call him!”
“Ok...ok...that sounds good....My name is Janice.”
“Hi, Janice! I’m Karilla! What brings you to Six Gable Stables?”
“No sense beating around the bush......was a horse recently brought to Jack for rehabilitation? Black mare with white markings? About sixteen hands high?
“Yeah....yeah we did...her name is Blackie....She was rescued from Vincent Cormier’s ranch, you know? The guy that posted the YouTube videos of him mistreating his horses? Why do you want to know?”




Janice replies to Karilla’s question, and the answer she gives genuinely shocks her.

“You’re probably not going to believe this........I was ‘Blackie’s’ original owner.”

Karilla responds to Janice.....with a simple smile...





“Blackie’s original name is Princess.” Janice explained to Karilla. “Me and my family own a horse farm similar to yours in another county and were training Princess to become a polo pony, but....her temperament was always bad. She would constantly buck her riders off at random times and more often than not she wanted nothing to do with me, my brother, my boyfriend or my parents. We knew we needed outside help with training her, so my parents found this horse trainer in the Crystal Falls area.”
“And the horse trainer you found was......”
“When I first met Vincent Cormier, I actually thought he was really hot... (giggles)...I didn’t know he was a Hollister model at the time...but he claimed to have a good reputation as a ‘horse whisperer.’
“Really?”




“Vincent actually seemed like a very nice, sociable guy to me and even though he insisted on having Princess stay in his stable, I thought that I could really rely on him to take care of and properly train her....(sigh) little did I know......The first time he had a training session with Princess, I made sure to keep an eye on things.....At first, Vincent actually tried to be gentle with Princess and was going to try and pet her, but Princess got spooked and reared up.....At that nanosecond, Vincent got out his bullwhip and started to beat the living sh*t out of her, right in front of me, no less! I yelled at him ‘STOP!!! You’re hurting her!’ and Vincent’s response just wrote in stone what kind of a person he is, a cold-blooded animal abuser. ‘Toughen up! You need thick skin for this kind of job. Now stand back and shut the f*** up!’ I then told him that horses have just as much feelings as humans do. He just laughed and said that he couldn’t care less about the horse’s ‘feelings.’ No bullsh*t, he ACTUALLY said that! So I did what I had to, I told Vincent to cancel the other appointments and that I’m taking my business elsewhere. He just laughed at me some more and ridiculed me non-stop on my way out. ”
“What happened after that?”
“She was still too much to handle at home....in fact she was even worse....My family had no choice but to contact the ASPCA to take her away...For the time being, I was sad that Princess was gone but I was reassured at the thought that she was in safe hands. Once again, little did I know that the ASPCA put her up for sale and in a sick stroke of fate, Vincent Cormier bought her......Now...I’m just so happy to find out that Princess is now safe with you guys.....Can I...see her at least?”




Karilla mulled over Janice’s request, knowing well that the black mare was quarentined and then accepted.

“Ok...you can see her, Janice...but I wouldn’t get too close to the quarantine pen if I were you, she’s still unbroken...We just recently got her to calm down to the point where we can feed her, give her water, and muck out the quarantine pen without her giving us any trouble, but the minute she senses that you’re gonna pet her, mount her, or basically make physical contact with her in any way, she goes ballistic.




With that said, Karilla leads her guest to the quarantine pen so Janice can reunite with her horse. Janice is absolutely shocked, however, to see the sheer amount of scars dotting the mare’s skin.

“Oh no....what did Vincent do to you?”
“The scars are healing very well, but you can forget about trying to get those knots out of her mane and tail...”




“I’m afraid to ask this.....but.....what are you planning to do to her?”
“Honestly, I’m not sure yet.....the owner of this stable sadly believes that she may be too far gone already....but I got a secret weapon......my boyfriend, Mike.”
“Hold up, Mike? Michael Schaefer? I’ve heard about him!”
“Really?”
“Yeah, everybody on the Horsez4U.com forum has heard of him and how he was able to tame a dangerous horse that killed its owner! I had no idea that he’s your boyfriend!!! Yeah, if anyone can help you with Princess, it’s him! And.....I hope you don’t take offense to this...but I wouldn’t really expect that someone who, at least at the time looked like a Jersey Shore reject to be able to tame a horse, let alone a horse as unpredictable and dangerous as that bay Arab stallion.”
“HA HA!! Don’t worry, no offense taken!”




At that moment, Karilla's own knight in shining armor comes back from a trail ride with Fury.

“Hey Karilla! Who’s this?”
“Hi, Babe....This is Janice. She was the black mare’s original owner and she came over so she can see her again.”




“It’s nice to meet you, Janice!”
“It’s nice to meet you too! I’ve heard so many things about you! Is that Fury, the horse you tamed? He’s even more beautiful than I thought he would be!”
“Thank you.”




As Janice and Mike converse, Karilla walks over to the quarentine pen where the black mare is being kept. Staring into the horse’s beautiful dark eyes, Karilla is absolutley entranced with the beauty of the dark horse.

“You know what..... the name ‘Blackie’ doesn’t really fit you.....I really love your original name.... ‘Princess’ really fits you....How do you like that name?

And with that said, the black mare nods her head.....and Karilla reacts in astonishment.....





“You.....can understand me, do you?”

Looks like Princess is going to be Karilla's My Lovely Horse

Very good, Fraroc, nice to see the story continue. I hope throwing another girl in the mix isn't going to cause trouble in paradise. They are hot-blooded young things after all.

Anyway, did anyone else give in to the compulsion to visit Horsez4U.com?

I'm kind of cautious of Janice, you can't always trust strangers who show up to your door out of the blue and claims that thing you recently found as theirs'.
Even if the claim does turn out to be true, I sense that there may be a little bit of tension between karilla and Janice. Both have an interest in the same horse-and the same man.

How does an early Christmas present sound?! Here you go, a new chapter of Fury! (you better like this one, With a garbage processor and crappy RAM, I went though hell trying to make the pictures. I can't WAIT until I get my new PC.)

Chapter Twenty-Nine






“KARILLA! What the hell are you doing?”

Mike’s voice boomed across the corral....by the tone and attitude of the yell, it is evident that Mike had just witnessed a very shocking event.





“What is Princess doing outside of quarantine!?”
“Relax Mike! She actually improved a lot over the past few days!”
“Really?”
“Yeah! Today, I was actually able to touch her without having her freak out, and not only that, I was also able to comb some of the knots out of her mane!”
“And I’m assuming that you have your saddle out because....”
“It’s a stretch....and I might not be able to mount her yet, but I just want to see how she is with a saddle on her back.”




Mike mulls over Karilla’s words, and subsequently decides to trust his girlfriend’s judgment, but there is still an aura of concern in his being.

“Ok....but...I feel more comfortable if I can keep an eye on you.”




Karilla slowly but surely walks over to the black mare with the saddle blanket in her hand. Not knowing exactly how Princess will react to having something on her back, she softly speaks to her.

“Its okay girlfriend....I’m not going to hurt you....I promise you....what I’m going to do to you is not going to hurt in any way....”




Thinking that Princess understood what she was saying, she goes ahead and slowly places it on her back....which later turns out to be a grave mistake as the black mare without warning, goes berserk.
“Whoa! Easy Princess!! Calm down!!”
“KARILLA!”




Mike jumps in front of Princess as she rears up in an attempt to stop her and calm her down, but fails to do so when Princess rears up again and kicks Mike straight in the chest, knocking him to the ground.

“Easy there, girl....EAS- (BOOF!)”




With Mike incapacitated and Karilla occupied in tending to her boyfriend, Princess sees an easy escape via the low fence....and takes it.





“Mike!”
“I’m fine, Karilla....damn mare just knocked the wind out of me, that’s all.”
“Well you better get the wind back inside of you, Princess is gone!!”
“She’s not gone, Karilla....she just ran off somewhere....we just gotta find her, that’s all.”




With that said, Karilla saddles up her old friend Raven while Mike just hops on Fury’s back. They search all around the grasslands surrounding the township of Crystal Falls, but the find no sign of Princess or any other horse around....

“She’s not here Mike!”
“Just calm down...we’ll keep looking...wait...”
“What?”
“Down there in the town. Just look.”




Karilla looks and gasps.

“No.....that can’t be.....It’s Princess! She’s running through the town and people are literally diving into the road to get away from her!”
“We have no choice, Karilla...we need to ride through town...I know you don’t like to make a scene by riding through Crystal Falls, but...we need to if we have any shot at getting Princess back safely.”




Meanwhile in the shopping district of Crystal Falls, many people are shocked and surprised to see a seemingly wild black horse tear through the town. For them, it is something either out of a western movie or The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. A young woman who is talking on her cell phone is instantly interrupted by the sound of the loud clomping of hoof beats on the concrete.

“Yeah uhh.....you’re not going to believe this for a second but right now, there is literally a horse running on the sidewalk. I’m NOT kidding you, I stopped to take a sip of my coffee and I heard this loud-ass neigh and this big black horse was rearing up inside the park and a bunch of cops were trying to calm it down! What? No, I’m NOT on crack, I’m serious! Hold on....”




Suddenly, the woman is taken completley aback as she sees a reddish-brown streak and a yellow and black streak race right past her.

“Ok....ready for this? There are two people that are riding horses that just sped past me....It was a guy and a girl....the guy looked like he had one of those lasso things so it looks like they’re trying to catch the black one....Well, there are some horse stables on top of the hill...




"Hey! What are you doing!? Horses belong at a horse farm!"
"Sorry! Excuse me!"

Mike and Karilla swiftly gallop their horses in the streets of Crystal Falls, weaving through and dodging oncoming traffic and angry pedestrians with great speed. However, after a long and grueling chase throughout the city, Mike finds that Princess had made her way out of the city and back into the wilderness.




Soon enough, the duo find Princess in the grasslands and gallop near her, Karilla signals to Mike to use the lasso to ensnare Princess, but she soon makes a discovery that thoroughly annoys and angers her.

“Mike! The lasso! Use the lasso!”
“Uhhhhh....Karilla? I don’t know......how to use one....”
“What!? THEN WHY THE HELL DID WE BRING IT ALONG WITH US IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!”
“I don’t know....I thought I would be able to figure it out! I didn’t plan on her galloping through the f***ing streets of Crystal falls!”
“Well, How the hell do you expect to catch her now?!”





The expression of Mikes face changes from one of bewilderment to determination as his brain brews an idea....

“There is one thing I can do...”
“And what is that, Mr. Cowpoke?”
“Princess is just a few feet that way....If I can make Fury gallop, I can gain enough speed so that Fury and Princess are parallel, I can jump from Fury’s back to Princess’ back.”




“WHAT?! That is far too dangerous! This is not some kind of movie or TV show, it’s real life! What if you miss? You can easily break a ton of bones, or worse!!”
“Trust me Karilla....With 13 years of MMA experience....I can honestly say that I am one tough motherf***er....I can handle some pain... GIDDYAP, FURY! HYAH!"
“MICHAEL!!!!!!!!”




Ignoring Karilla’s yell, Mike makes Fury gallop closer and closer to Princess....Without taking a second thought, Mike positions himself to where he is no longer straddling the stallion rather he is crouching on his back......With his powerful legs, he springs from Fury’s back........




and lands right on Princess’ back as planned.




“Holy sh*t....he actually did it.”




Despite Mike being successful in his attempt to wrangle Princess, he seems to have trouble calming down the frightened mare as she gallops wildly in circles, trying to throw him off her back.

“HEY! EASY!!! Easy there girl....calm down...It’s gonna be okay...”




“There we go....good girl, Princess! What can you say, this horse has definitely got some spirit!”





Karilla simply smiles at her boyfriend......

“Lets go back.....we should keep this little...“misadventure” between us, okay?”

You sure do know how to make a wait worth it! Moral of this chapter, "anything that can go wrong with a horse WILL go wrong with a horse!"

Good grief that was exciting! I found myself reading it really fast to see what was going to happen!

Wow, I can’t believe it…I’ve hit another milestone in my story…Fury is now up to chapter THIRTY! I would have never expected that when this story started way back in mid-2012 that we would be up to this point! And I couldn’t have continued this without all the support from SimsForums.com! Thank you Minty, Caspin, Ollie and all the others that have most generously read and responded to every chapter of my story!

Chapter Thirty, Part One




Jennifer crept around the wooden walls of the stable, checking to see if anyone was around. She knew that Mike, Jason and Jack wouldn’t have minded what she was about to do, but if one of her girlfriends were to catch her in the act, Jennifer knew that all hell would break loose.




Slowly, but surely, she reaches her destination. Raven’s stall. Jennifer extended her hand and gently caressed the forehead of the large Andulasian buckskin mare.
“Raven…Don’t worry, It’s just me…Jenny…..I bet you really miss Karilla riding you on a daily basis, don’t you girl? Don’t take it personally, it’s not like Karilla doesn’t love you anymore…She’s just been spending a lot of time with Jack training the new horse…How about we go for a ride? Just the two of us…”
Raven appears to nod her head, almost as if she understands everything Jennifer is saying.




Jennifer proceeds to saddle up Raven, open up the stable door, and later, mounted her. But just as she was about to take a trail ride, she hears a loud and high pitched voice coming from the other side of the stable which spooks Raven.
“JENNIFER!”




Jennifer quickly dismounted Raven to find Karilla staring at her with a look that could kill.

“JENNIFER WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING?! DON’T YOU REMEMBER OUR PACT?!?!!? NEVER, EVER, EVER RIDE EACH OTHER’S HORSES NO MATTER WHAT?!”
“I know, Karilla. It’s just that…for the past week, you’ve been so busy training and riding Princess that you haven’t been paying any mind to Raven at all! Raven has been standing around in that stall for days and has just been dying to be ridden!”
“I don’t give a sh*t. If I wanted someone to ride Raven so badly, I would have asked either Jack, J., or my boyfriend to do it. But from now on, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM RAVEN AND WINSTON!”

Karilla stormed off angrily. At that point, Jennifer can only think of one thing….

“Okay…….bitch.”




As Karilla walked away from the stables, she took a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth in order to calm herself down. In the process, she overhears a conversation between Jack and her boyfriend. From what she gathers from what they are saying, while Mike was on a trail ride with Jason and Marissa, Fury spooked and threw Mike.

“Are you sure he didn’t attack you? He didn’t try to stomp on you or kick you or anything like that?”
“No, he just reared up, I fell off, and he bolted. Poor boy just got scared, that’s all. It took us 20 minutes to find him, though.”
“What set him off?”
“You know the air force base near the edge of Crystal Falls going into Denver?”
“Yeah…”
“Well, these two huge Apache helicopters flew over….”

Suddenly, as soon as Mike said that certain word that begins with an “A”, Karilla experienced a sharp, drilling pain going inside her forehead.She suddenly has a flashback to a certain point of her life that she would rather forget for the rest of her life.
“I’m sorry but even if the bones miraculously healed, he’ll always be in excruciating pain….I think it would be best if we-“




Karilla suddenly snapped out of the flashback as she feels Mike’s hand frivolously tapping her shoulder.
“Karilla? Karilla?”
“WHAT!?”
“Uhhh…I just wanted to know what was up with you? You kind of seem….out of it.”
“I’m fine Mike….please...I’m fine.”
“Alright…”




Later on in the afternoon, Mike met Jason by the edge of the pasture. Like many other times where he found Jason alone, Mike found this to be a good opportunity for a session of male bonding.

“Princess is one beautiful mare, Mike. Your girl sure is lucky to have her.”
“I know, right?”
“Is she….completley tame now? Can I….pet her?
“Go right ahead, she’s completely docile….”

Mike whistles to signal Princess into approaching Jason by the fence.




Jason extends his hand over the fence and pets Princess on the forehead. The black mare snorts in a friendly manner. However, after Jason is done petting her, he knew that he needed to mention something to Mike about his girlfriend and her attitude.

“Ok, Mike…I need to ask you something.”
“Shoot.”
“I’m going to be real clear with you, what the hell is going on with Karilla? All throughout today, she has giving everybody an attitude! She blew up at Jennifer for almost no reason, she completely ignored Marissa and me when we waved to her, she was also being real stubborn with you and Jack and overall, being extremely difficult. I just wanted to ask you….what’s wrong with her?”
“I….honestly do not now…I do know what set her off though, Jennifer broke the pact that the three girls made. ‘Never under any circumstances ride each other’s horses.’ The weird part about that pact is that it doesn’t include the both of us and Jack. It just includes the girls. We could go and saddle up Raven, Dancer, and Winston and ride them without any of them giving us sh*t. It’s just that for some reason, the girls, especially Karilla gets so defensive about the pact……Come to think of it, there was another thing that bothered her. Earlier today when we were out riding, those two big Apache helicopters flew over really low and Fury got spooked? It seems that when I said the word “Apache”, she began to hold her head and entered some sort of trance….”
“I really hope that we find out what’s bothering her and soon….”




The next day, Mike found Karilla hanging out by the front of the stable, looking bored. Mike saw this as an opportunity to talk to her.

“Hey Karilla….”
“Hey Mike….”
“You know, it really is a beautiful day outside, why don’t you saddle up Princess, I’ll get Fury and we’ll go on a trail ride together! How does that sound?”
“Sounds….pretty good.”




Moments later, the couple riding their horses travel down the winding path to no particular destination. Willing to risk his relationship with Karilla, he begins to talk with his girlfriend to try and find out what exactly is bothering her.

“Ok, Karilla…..I love you…but I need to ask you something. Why the hell are you being so difficult with other people? I saw you blow up at Jennifer for no reason yesterday, all she did was ride Raven! It wasn’t like she was hurting her or anything! And when I mentioned the word “Apache”….”
“I’m sorry Mike, but there is some information that you are just not meant to be privy to, okay?”
“What?”
“There is just some things that you’re just not supposed to know!”




“God Damn it, Karilla!!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!”

Mike exploded, Karilla visibly jumped at the sudden outburst from her boyfriend…For the most part, Karilla had never seen Mike when he was angry, how intimidating and scary he could be….until now. However, before Mike could revert back to his old ways….he calmed down.

“Remember our first date, Karilla?….when I opened up to you about how repulsive I treated my little brother Kevin? And how I took accountability for my actions? Well, I remember right before I spilled my guts out to you, you said something like ‘Mike, being together means that we can trust each other.” And just like how I was able to open up to you about something I’m not proud of…..you can do the same too. So please…..talk to me….”




“Okay…..If you honestly want to know the truth…Here it is…You know Winston, right? Pinto gelding, Marissa’s horse...Well….Winston is not her original horse....She used to have a beautiful Quarter Bay gelding known as Apache….In 2011…a whole year before you started working here…….”

Karilla paused, multiple tears fell from her eyes.



“I…. I killed him.”
