This sort of annoys me:

A whole bunch of people have been saying how upset they'll be if there is no CC for TS3, and I'm not saying that I don't want it, but I've found on the sims 2 exchange that stories that have a whole bunch of custom content tend to be rated higher. i always thought that was kind of dumb seeing as some of these stories were terrible but still got the five star rating because the main character had cool hair and clothes.

Any thoughts?
I don't really care if the characters are loaded with CC or not.
What's more important to me are the pictures and the writing.
But if the pics are blurry and the angles suck, I wouldn't rate it 5 stars, no matter how well its written.

I agree. But you must be new at Sims if you're on the exchange and you still don't have custom content. :Smile
I don't care about CC in stories. I like the stories because of the writing

Some people have reasons for not using CC.
Most of the time they just don't have enough RAM or disc space... Or they just like the maxis style.

But I can't live without my 5 GB of CC. xP

Personally, I don't really like the exchange, 90% of the guys there use other people's CC without giving credit, or they even claim it as their own.
Also sucks that most of the time the meshes aren't included and you have to look for them on the net.
I really prefer fansites like SAU, MTS2 or InSim. x]]

The exchange also loads slow, and there's lots of n00by creations there. I used to only stick to the exchange, but then I figured out by myself how to unzip files to get them in the game, so now I always use other sites like Modthesims2.
i luv how the mts2 has Q xpress that is cool it is really easy to download and its free

i look for ceativity{cc} and good writing if's not good then i won't rate it high or won't rate it all! i think a good story is being unique&&yourself.
I can't think of any really good stories. Most of them really suck and have the exact same storyline. Does anyone have a story that they think is original and well written?
If I am honest, I do like CC in a story, because it gives more variation and choice for each individual look of the character. But as someone said before, I don't really mind if there is none, just so long as it's written with real punctuation (Not Lyk Thiis, ii Hatee It), got a good story line and the pictures are good to look at and attractive.
