I want basic pets in the basegame, so they can add to them in every EP, instead of forgetting about them after giving us one EP.
Hobby enthusiasm is pretty basic, and is somewhat vital!
(FreeTime added a LOT of cool stuff that SHOULD have been in the original TS2 basegame)
I'm just glad that seasons are confirmed. (or at least weather)

i definately hope eps are associated in the base game i dont want more remakes i want new ep ideas for the sims 3 since its such a different game
pets already included would be cool...the seasons already included would be awesome. Those are a waste of ep. they should just be included beforehand.
I also think places like beaches and such should already be added..i dont want another vacation ep either..
like i said i want stuff like that already included..not all of it..just parts..so that the eps will be fresh and new for this completely different sims 3.
I'm don't want vacations are university in the basegame, they should (if they do them at all) wait for an EP to put in those features. I do think that Seasons should be included, and I kind of think Nightlife should also be included. There should be places were only adults are allowed to go. And also, the hobby enthusiasm, I agree completely. And I do think they will be doing this. As for pets, well... to be honest I wouldn't be completely gutted if pets didn't come with the basegame. And I don't think they will. I'd rather they put a lot of effort into pets (unlike they did with TS2) and make them much more lifelike, with possibilities like pet shows like they had in TS1. TS1's Unleashed was a lot better than TS2's Pets, in my opinion. So I hope they spend more time working on pets and maybe save it for an EP.
see i want the main stuff from eps already added so its not me buying the same games over and over every time there is a new base game. its a waste of money. why not buy something new each time? and have the base game hold the old improved stuff.
I said Pets, Uni, and Bon voyage. Let's hope the pets are better.

I definitely want Nightlife. And I agree with Cassie that there should be places that are off limits for the younger folks. Also certain places should attract different types of crowds. Coffee shops, teens and up mainly. Parks, a variety of people, but the kids should be playing around etc.
I would like Pets to be included, but I want them more developed so I could wait. I don't really care about pet shows, but I think there should be much more interactivity. Different pets should have different pie menu options. After you know the pet for a while there could be an interaction like "Scratch special spot" and that would be the dogs/cats favorite place, i.e. behind the ears or something. Pets should also be able to sleep with sims on the couch and in their beds. Since the grid will looser and AI better pets could do lots of things: Walk around on the counters (maybe while a sim is cooking), jump on the table while sims are eating (can be shooed without actually disrupting the meal), curl up on a sims lap while they are reading, watching tv, on computer. All of these things wouldn't be that hard to program at all, just another animation.
I think all of us simmers should demand that there aren't as many strays and that pets shouldn't be allowed to run into buildings downtown
I didn't really like OFB in TS2 because my sim would spend all day at work and be dead tired when he came home, and he still had to live the rest of that day. But since time will continue wherever you go this time around, OFB could be AMAZING!
I don't have Freetime, but I think that would add a lot to game play. Although I've been hearing a lot about constant calls from club members and some other annoying things. Didn't EA realize that would drive everyone crazy???
Uni kind of annoyed me because college took so freaking long, and it was boring. If those things were changed then I would like that.
I want pets with more options, freetime, and vacations with more locations to go to.
