I think the way they interact with the world should be affected more!
They should move more awkwardly, have trouble sitting down
find it hard to get into bed, trouble sleeping, find it hard to sit at tables
be more emotional( have fights with husband,cry at sappy commercials, laugh at childern playing)
They should have cravings for weird foods and stuff, they should be able to do more with the baby
while in the womb(read to the baby, have the baby listen to music, etc)
add on if you like!
Yea those are good ideas, but seriously, pregnant sims get REALLY hard to take care of. I think they shouldn't be as sleepy as they are. I know that you need to get your rest but every pregnant woman who I know still goes to work and stays up for a full day. In the TS2, my pregnant sims can only be up for like two hours before they have to go to bed again.
If they were going to add mood swings, they definitely need to chill out about pregnant sims needs.
Also I think that it would be cool if you could call your boyfriend/husband or girlfriend/wife at work and ask them to pick something up for them on the way home. Like something they were craving.

Great ideas! I definitely want the pregnancy to be a lot more exciting and interesting, more options and emotions. All of those things you said are great, and I agree with Simmy, particularly the last three!

I've been thinking this too, I think it would be great if they could put this in TS3! Not just for cravings (though I understand why you said that seeing as this thread is about pregnancy), but for just about anything. If a Sim could just call a member of the household who was at work or in the town to buy a certain ingredient or two that they need to make dinner, or a couple of new books for the children, practically anything! I'd love this to be in it.
Yeah pregnant women would drive me crazy if they got even harder to keep up needs for..but since needs are hidden maybe the icon way makes things easier to fulfill??
Maybe they will focus more on her actions then her needs.

i didnt know there was one lol.
I hope i dont find out any cheats for ts3..or i'll never not use them..and i hate getting addicted to using them.it takes away from the gameplay for me.

Yah, me too. I am addicted to maxmotives, so now when I play I have nothing to do. :-/Taking care of needs is a big part of the game. Because hunger failure = death. Bladder failure = gross puddle on the floor, bad memory for the sim, and embarrassment for the sim. Energy failure = fainting sim. Hygiene failure = stinky sim. ;D

i think they should either have 'mommy classes' or 'parent classes', and they should be able to invite a bunch of pregnant woman, like a 'pregnant women teaparty', and they should have like a minigame, simular to the headmaster minigame, and if they pass the test, they will have a special membership, just like the memberships in freetime, and they will get free stuff and free tips like a secret society! when the child is born, they get a care package of like crib and stuff. she could pre-order it. it could be like a gift from the other pregnant girls! and they should have baby play dates! i could go on and on... ;D
