Hey,

I followed this link from n4g.com:

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/pr...the-sims-3

It has quite a lot of Sims 3 details I haven't seen anywhere else.  Like, how the community will just live out their lives (marrying, raising kids, moving into houses, buying new stuff) with or without the player seeing it.  We (players) will see some of what goes on, but most of it will be going on in the background.

Anyway, just read the article.  I'm really excited by this news.

TG
thanks some of that helped put some things into a better perspective.
This is a great article! I can't believe more people aren't excited. If you read the whole thing you can find answers to A LOT of questions. For instance in my townie thread, I was wondering how intelligent they would be. Would they buy furniture, have kids or just carrying on with their lives? They are doing the whole shabang! Which kind of amazes me. I wonder if the furniture in the house will be organized and neat, or if they'll also decorate. This game sounds absolutely incredible.

Plus they were talking about social interactions! How a group of sims walking down the sidewalk would move to let another group around while still continuing their conversation. AHH! YAY! And then they're even going to implement (it seems) the ability for people to join conversations, plus people will have different ideas of how close is too close when it comes to talking distances, and some sims may be made uncomfortable.
I also enjoyed this article! Thanks for posting it!

I'm predicting they will around April 19th. I have absolutely no reason to think this, but I feel like they wouldn't leave us hanging for toooooo long.
Fantastic article thank you very much.I loved how they made the whole town age themselves just so you could only focus in your house hold.Gamers would always jump from home to home and leave that one household dormant. Now that all the sims live just like there controlle by a player you have to focus on your own sims.I also like that we can do things for the sims without having to tell them to do it.I read another article and it said that like in sims 2 the sims will look at the screen and look for us to stop or whatever.Well this time the sims will look more to us for things.I also like how they created 2d models of the game first sort of lie a skeleton and then created the world. Also if you think about it where no longer paying house holds but a whole town.Grear article indeed.
