I was playing my sims 2, continuing my legacy and my game all of a sudden froze.  The pause button wasn't on and the time was frozen and my sims wouldn't move.  I can still assign commands to them and stuff, but the sims are still frozen.

I gave it time to see if it was lagging and it is not.

I tried moving my sims from house to house but it happens at every house.

I also tried removing my downloads folder.

I tried cheats such as boolproptestingcheatsenabled true, or whatever it was.  I typed it right, because I made sure.

Nothing seems to work...

Hasn't this ever happened to you?  If you fixed it, what was your solution?

I do not really want to ruin my legacy by reinstalling the game.
Its probably just a glitch, all you have to do is turn the computer off and on again and see if it works if not then just ask me for any help on my pm  Smile
Well, that stinks! But it is probably just a glitch. Did you restart your computer/the game?
I restarted many times.  I think it is just that lot.  I wonder if I can package the lot and erase the family that's on the game and install the package.  Would the family still be in the package or is it just the house?  And do you think the glitches would still be there?
If the family is living in the house, it should be packaged together with the lot.

Possibly that would get rid of the glitch...but I thought you said you tried moving the family to another lot and it wouldn't work. Am I right?
Thank you, everyone.

The problem was resolved.  I had to enter the boolprop thing fifty thousand times the same way in order for it to do something.

It was a glitch with the teddy bear (the kid's toy), so no using that again.
Good, then! I'm so glad you figured it out. Wink
Wow I've never heard of that glitch before...ROFL.
Oh, I have. That evil teddy bear. Wink
I have heard of it vaguely, never in detail.
