Instead of Riley Jade
I have decided on Savanna Raye
in honor of my parents.
My mothers middle name is ann (savanna covers that lol) and Ray is my fathers middle name.
anyhow I changed the name because I wanted something that would better fit with my last Name (Fowler)
so Savanna Raye Fowler..
July 31st..so close yet so far.
what do you all think?

I have to be honest with you, though...I was quite fond of Riley Jade. But if you grew bored with it this early, it's definitely a good thing you switched it up a bit. And I really love how you honoured your parents...that's absolutely amazing. Beautiful choice.
I love Riley Jade as well i really love that name..but it just doesnt mesh well with my last name
but maybe my next child will be Riley Jade..we'll see if I have another one.
riley jade is a beautiful name but so is Savanna Raye and Savanna Raye is more unique and fits better with your last name

I see what you mean, but they are both beautiful names. I am really fond of both, your naming techniques are similar to mine, I love your choices. I also love your friend's name choice, Summer Raine. So cute. I love it. {wub}
I actually think the second name choice, Savannah Raye, is prettier by an inch, and as it flows well with your surname better, it's a clear winner. But I still adore Riley Jade too. But you know, as soon as you look at your baby girl, you may decide she looks like a Riley Jade. Or even something else. That's what happened to my Aunty Rachel a few years ago. She was adamant the baby would be called Josie, but soon as one look at her, she decided she was a Grace (Gracie. She decided she was a Gracie but she named her officially 'Grace').
The only thing I would say is, for some reason, I prefer the spelling 'Rae', don't ask why. I'm a huge name freak. {rolleyes} But I do think the spelling 'Raye' looks better with Savannah.
Anyway, does Savannah Raye feel like the right choice to you? More then Riley Jade? I don't know if you ever experience feelings like that, but I was just wondering.
LOVE IT! It's SO CUTE! And yeah it definately does fit better with your surname. As we all know by now I'm not keen on common names and those aren't common but yet they aren't weird like some people go for lol I think your baby is going to be a very lucky one! Oh and OMG you are due like really close to my sister-in-law! =) Haha we can share excitement! I take it you know it's going to be a girl? I don't know what my second nephew/neice is going to be-it was in a weird postion (just like it's brother). I hope it's a girl though! I've already got a gorgeous 1 year old nephew =)
im not entirely sure..the ultrasound lady said it looked like the labia...and girls are verrrry common in my family..so..it better be a girl i already have clothes and stuff lol.
