lol well! im pretty sure they made the "ARCADE" thingy to keep us busy for awhile so they wont have ti update us all the time lol im on to them! [glow=red,2,300]mwuahahahhahaha[/glow]

yeah they are really doing this. but u know wat I think they are just gettig us worked up over waiting so they can be sure but with the lack of information i dunno if i would buy it or not:/

Remember (for those on VIP) they said our next update is this summer.

I hope we get something sooner but if not, at least they told us when we would get one.

you know, don't get me wrong here, but aren't we sims players one spoiled lot? from all the screen shots we got so far it is so obvious how much work they're pouring into this. and not just work but also heart and soul and love.

therefore, i love the game already and i don't mind the wait. and i don't mind the occasional lack of information. i have faith in rod humble because he devotes more time to development and testing than to standing  in the limelight. i like him better than any of the sims2 promoters, like luc bartelet for example, because, while rod humble says little, if he says something it's usually a good, solid statement and its crystal clear what he is going for with this game. also, his respect for both the game and the players is undeniable.

i think people are a little bit unfair. he's not a luc bartelet who would talk and talk and talk and never listen to players suggestions and never care. i think mr. humble listens an awful and cares and the proof is already there. sims 3 is the only game where the community is so important to its developers. magic!  {clap}

I personally don't think they hold us quite so highly as they did, if I'm being honest. Back in the days, they were the best ever. Unfortunately I was too young to appreciate the benefits of them being so 'in' with the Sims community, I didn't realise the rarity. I truly think they are very much less interested in what we as fans feel, what we want etc. It used to be that way, but time changes things. I think they listen to us on a baseline, a foundation or sorts, I don't know... they take in the basics of what we want, the most obvious too. But really they're concentrating much more on themselves and the money than the fans, because they know how we work and that we'll always be here, buying the games like puppets on strings. How unfortunate. I feel like I'm wrapped round their little fingers...

i would like to add something, but i fell so dull about them these days that every time i want to react on whatever topic, even the idea to writing one more time what i think about them, it just Tires me {yawn}!

I agree, it gets dull, tedious and repetitive and we shouldn't have to complain about them. People probably think I'm just having a good moan because they aren't updating us, but that sincerely is not the case. I've watched how they are with us since I was about 12, and since TS2 they have gradually began to lose interest in the fanbase. I know they do care somewhat, they do listen to us now and again, but not enough, and not like they used to. I'm wishing they could just embrace their fans again and take a wide interest in what we have to say and what we feel about what's going in the game and what's being taken out etc etc, and even post in the BBS and OTHER FORUMS (yes, EA, there are other places fans gather than just the darn BBS) so we can obtain a better relationship with them again. I wish I didn't have to carry so much dislike for them.
