i've been thinking, will wright is working on spore, which is why hes not workin on the sims 3, but spores out in september ? so it might be possible that will wright might get bored and re-take over the project TS3 {ohmy} if he does that, couldnt that delay the release date, as in he'd more than likely hate most of the ideas and he'd want to add his own ideas {blink} wat'chea think?
I don't think it'd push the date back. To be honest, the game will probabaly end up being pushed back from Spring to maybe Autumn or Winter '09. But not because Rod got bored and thought he'd scrap everyone's ideas for his own. If he came back, he'd tweak with a couple of ideas and add a few of his own. He may possibly remove one or two things, he knows what's best and what's not, so I wouldn't be worried. But he wouldn't hate most of the ideas, no no no.

I hope there is no delay.. I would be very upset! and saddened! and aggravated!! and.. and... just totally IRKED !!!!
They've been working on it for over three years, scrapping it and starting over would be a waste of time, money, and energy.
I read that will won't be working on the sims period.
Besides, when spore is out, he still will be very busy with even more interviews and such.
A lot of people don't realize that will wright isn't just over spore and the sims(when he was over it)
He also works on many other projects including a kids TV show with his daughter.
Finally, when and if he does date a break, it will probably be a vacation!
Its hard to grasp, but this is humble's baby, unless he does something terribly wrong, he won't be letting anyone take over. He is sitting on a multimillion dollar project.
I doubt there'll be a delay.
Or maybe that's just me wishing

Actually since ea now owns the sims they are the ones making the game, but he works on it also.Mostly though ea is working on it and u dont see the maxis logo on sims any more.
