I think 2 Sims can make 1 Meal. As I've seen in one of the pictures. 2 of the Sims were making their meal together. Wow. This is great. At least we won't have our other Sims out there wondering. Husband and Wife cooking a meal together. Wonder if they can use the sink together. HEHE.
Yeah, sims 3 may have a lot more social interactions this time around, besides games.  And by that pic, cooking seems confirmed.

I hope so.  It would be easier to build up relationships.
Oh, cool
hmm, i hope so, that would be great!
though, from what i remember from that screenshot, it looked to me like they were cooking different dishes, just at the same time...
maybe itll be like one sims can cook the soup while another can handle the salad on the side, and it will be counted as one meal.
i dont know, i just want more information already!
yeah iit did look  like diff. meal but it does not mean we can't be hopeful!
One thing that I think needs to be changed is the amount of plates in a group meal. I think we should have an option for making a family meal. This would mean that if there were four people in the family, the family meal would serve four, or if there were eight people in the family, it would serve 8. This system would also incorporate guests. Three family members, two guests, a family meal would serve 5. However the maximum number it could serve would be 8.

I also think that there should be an option to set a table and eat thanksgiving style. This way could serve as many people as could fit in the chairs.

yea that would be cool if like the mom is seasoning up the chicken and the daughter is cutting vegetables
I can see the fire in the kitchen now!

Big Grin
I like that idea. Of serving how many are at the house.

Instead of eight, I think it should go with what you said earlier, to how many are over, or eating.

Like, if you had a party of 25, you can set it up buffet style. Like with the old buffet table except you can cook the meal and serve it.

I also like the idea of having potlucks.

If you can cook a meal, grow food etc. And have an inventory, I think you can ask guests to bring meal or something that way there is no need to cook more food. As well as someone who loves a good meal or party could have a good moodlet the whole time.

Welcoming new neighbors too, just reach into your inventory and present your meal to them.

You could get relationship points for giving the gift, and the points could also be based on how well prepared it is.

Yes, those would be much more convenient!
