well i was just reading topics and wuz wondering
how do you think offspring are gonna inherit traits
i know you get like 2 when in the pregnancy stage but like
i mean what if the single mom was a vegetarian and her kid
only got 2 traits so far good and sense of humor but he liked to eat
meat do you think eating greens and stuff all his life could change
his traits into vegetarian or if this boy always jogged with his
father that would make him outgoing what do you guys think?

Like a shy sim could make an outgoing friend, and they could be influenced by other sims's personalities. It would also be cool if aspirations could change... like let's say a Sim is a romance sim, then she gets married and turns into a family sim. Just an idea

like, say the child inherits so many traits, upon birth do you think something will pop up and we pick the rest?
maybe some can be developed as the baby grows, maybe even through childhood and even teenage years.
so by the time they are adults they have pretty solid traits.
it would definitely be cool though if they could change over time, but i dont want them to change too easily.
i'll probably say this a million times, but i just want new information.
i want to understand how things are going to happen before the game comes out.
some people say they dont want to know everything, and neither do i, i want the interactions and such to be learned as i play but i want to know how the game and its newer features are going to work.

I want the shy girl to slowly develop in to the party girl. But yeah, I don't think it should be one of the rapid changes either.
yeh, if the traits changed too quickly, then it would be more like a phase.
though, that could be fun too haha.

I was thinking about this too!
I think that if a sim has a lifechanging moment - their wife leaves them, they have a kid, they lose all their money etc. that they could have a option to change a trait. Maybe if being sloppy drove their wife crazy, after they were left they could become neater.
I really like the idea of having phases, where kids acquire some of the feister traits at especially hormonal times.
