So what does everyone think about the new Sims Store? I personally hate the idea. EA makes plenty of money, this is just getting ridiculous. Especially since they charge so much for each item. If a Stuff Pack has 80 items (i'm not sure) and it costs $20, each item is 50 cents. The price should be equal or less!
ya, I don't know about the sim store...kinda good and yet not really.  Idk.
I havent been on the Sim Store yet.But I know that EA is getting ridiculous with the money thing

I totally agree with you about EA having plenty of money and yet charging us a fortune for petty items. But, remember, TS3 is going to have total customization over clothes, furniture, wall-paper, flooring, etc, so I can't really imagine what EA could release that could cost money.

There's a possibility that the shapes the furniture or clothes are in can't be changed. So EA will still be able to release stuff packs that will have different kinds of furniture and clothing.

I want to see what happens with their idea. lol
^ that's what I said in my stuff pack thread. they can't release more recolours (even if they Do have some default templates for them) so they'll have to make some intruiging meshes, or the packs will be a waste.

The store costs WAY too much money. I don't want to pay 24 dollars (almost 30, which is how much an SP costs here!) for one silly little set *that I badly want, cuase I want everything!* that wont even get upadted once they spontaneously combust or something {rolleyes}

and IF they DO update them, we'll most likely have to pay for them again.

hopefully the store will end when TS2 does.
