I have reloaded all my sims (last installed was Free Time).  Everything was working fine until I created a family.  I moved them into a lot and they became floating heads.  So I left the lot and created a new family and moved them to a lot.  They were floating heads as well.  I tried leaving the lot and going back to it, but still have the floating heads..  LOL

What causes it and how do I fix it?

It might be just a corrupted lot. Try moving them in to other houses.

so far it has happened to 3 lots and different families

buy new clothes and change

yes it has and it worked for me when i bought them all new clothes
