Think about it, scrolling around Pleasant Valley, watching all of the sims you've created interact with things. It's going to be such a new feeling.

I absolutely cannot wait to tour around Pleasant Valley, look at all the shops and stores and different types of houses and areas, see the neighbours up to their daily antics, Sims sat in the cafe's or playing in the park. With NO loading. It's going to take a while to ever get bored of roaming around the 'hood.
I also think being stuck in your lot like we have now, will be a forgotten feature. I do think the EPs for Sims 3 will be constantly adding to the neighbourhood and make it bigger and bigger, and after a while it's going to be weird to think that we ever had to just stick around on one lot (most of the time). Besides, the community lots on Sims 2 are boring as hell, don't you think?
