i just had a thought, i don't know if anyone has posted on this subject yet but
wouldn't it be cool if instead of going by seasons..what if we went by year and had
holidays along the way? like i know how alot of simmers have been interested in some sort
of summer vacation off of school where they could go to camps and do all kinds of new interactions
that are only available during that time so what if we had that and had halloween, valentines day and thankgiving etc?
it would be cool if they even got days off of school on those occasions so that we can relate more to our sims? then
it would be tottaly unique and it would be like having a little friend with you going through what you are going through.
what do you guys think? ???
Summer Vacation could be cool. One thing I wish they had done with Seasons in TS2 was Summer Vacation.
Say, day one of summer, a pop-up would come up saying "It's time for Summer Vacation! <Child's Name> has off the next 7 days. Get in some fun, or extra studying while you can!"
yea! that would be great! so in that time
all you who have bon voyage could like take
the family on a trip! and maybe if it was like 2 weeks
they could go on two trips. it'd be so much fun! {clap}

I would love to have like seasons and then certain dates posted for holidays...on halloween I would love for my sim to answer the door to all the neighborhood kids and give them candy!!! That would be fun. And they would go shopping for costumes and candy beforehand too!
yea let's say a group of teenage
girls are having a sleepover halloween night are staying
up late watching scary movies. Once they go to bed, it
would be funny if a group of teen guys come and like sneak
into there house or just make noises and dress up as ghosts
outside just to scare them and the girls would have a bad moodlet
towards them for the rest of the week. they could plot evil things
to prank them back. baha {lol}

Say, like ...
That last day of Autumn could be Halloween, and all the Sim Kids come to your house, ringing the doorbell and your sim can give out candy.
Like, have a Candy Bowl in the Buy-Mode that you could have your sim stand next to, so that each time the doorbell rings, they could hand candy out!
And, kids could Trick-Or-Treat from 7 PM until 10 PM, and depending on how many "nice" points a sim has, the kids/teens with 4 or less nice points could come back around 11 or 11:30 and do things like egg your house, or knock over your trash can, lol

Holidays should be EPs or something, though. If not it could create controversy.
yea, i liked the idea of making all kinds
of stuff packs for sims 2 but the subjects
were pretty boring. they should do stuff packs
that change the game a bit but not too much like,
let's take Halloween for instance. not everyone likes
Halloween and some people think it's downright evil so
having said that, they probably wouldn't want something
that goes against what they beleive in/tolerate. just make
little things like that would show people that EA cares for other
peoples standards and they would appreciate it that much more. just a thought.
