After a heated argument that took place in my brain for that past few months, I have decided that I am NOT going to pre-order. I'm getting up at the crack of dawn on February 20th and will be at the store the second it's opened, first in queue with my copy of Sims 3. I reckon it'll be more exciting that way anyway. I can sit on the bus and browse the manual and the box on the way back. Then I'll be straight home and (hopefully) playing all day because I'm that cool. 8)

So I was just curious as to what you guys plan to do? I know some of you may not have decided yet, but if you have, or if you almost certain you know, please vote. Thanks! =]

i never pre-order games only big games like
san andreas
and the sims. i pre ordered the sims 2 and i will pre order the sims 3
because then i dont have to worry about them being out of stock

Lol i pre-ordered in the 1st week of september !! that way i dont have to be up at the crack of dawn OR stress about how many copies will be availiable .. my sims 3 will be safely waiting for me at EB games .. isnt that such a comforting thought ?? it is for me hehe  {yes}

I'm going to be the first at the store. Mom said she's going to go buy it for me when I'm at school, but that's not going to work for me. By the time it's out, I'll already have been waiting for almost a year!

I might get it on my birthday if i can wait long enough since the game come out in febuary and my birthday is april, but i know i not gonna get it the first day its relased because I'll probably be in school.  {yes}

I think that I'm going to do the excact same thing as you Cassie! Because, just like you said, it's way more exciting that way! WAY MORE! {woot}
But, I'll be going on my bike then, not with the bus! So I won't be able to read the manual or something, because if I'm going to try that on my bike, I won't be able to play the actual game, because I'll be in the hospital for weeks! {lol}

I was going to pre-order it, but then I read about the SecuROM thing.. I'm not going to buy it if it will have SecuROM and works the same way as it does with Spore. I do want Sims 3 but will wait and see what happens with SecuROM first.  {unsure}

{clap} {clap}  Good News for me..I got the job offer at Gamestop...and of course Im pre-ordering so I can stand in the front line of others..and if i will be working on the release date..I just show my reciept and be the first co-worker/customer to get the game anyway {clap} {clap}
