Hey all! I just joined this forum. A little bit about myself: I'm 30, been playing games for over 22 years, and love them. I just re-installed The original Sims on my computer, after 5 years of not playing it. I never finished it, and intend to this time. But on to more pressing matters:

I started the game, and my mouse pointer keeps disappearing! I know it's not a technical problem, because the buttons still highlight when I roll the invisible pointer over them. So it's a graphical problem. Is there a patch I can download for this? I would love to play this game without having to guess where my mouse is all the time! Thanks

Unfortunately there are only 3, one for the deluxe edition, one for hot date & one for unleashed.

I had that happen to me before.  I had to uninstall and reinstall and then it was fine.
