So, I don't know if anything has been officially announced...but I'd be SHOCKED if there wasn't one. There will definitely be willing buyers and this is the biggest gaming franchise of all time so I think it will be out eventually.

ANYWAY...what do you think the next great leap will be? From TS1 to TS2 its was generations and aging. From TS2 to TS3 its mainly the massive change in how the neighborhood works. I think from TS3 to TS4 it will be all about relationships.

In each game, relationships have advanced somewhat, but I think TS4 will bring a lot more out. More drama, and more ways for sims to express themselves.

What direction do you think they'll go in for TS4?
What i think the sims 4 will be directed to....
-More open ways of relationships and drama
-i think there will be more age stages
-i can only imagine the CAS
that's all i can think of about now
It defintely would step it up a lot from The Sims 3; the graphics would be superb beyond belief, because by that time whoever would be behind the development, (it would be great to have Will Wright back once again), um..would be advanced with the seamlessness of the game (Sims 3). Also I think that it will tap into such more realism that you probably do not even have to control sims at all, because they will be so smart and intellegent they probably wouldnt want you to help them.  Big Grin

Speaking of the graphics, I can just imagine what the system requirements would be like: probably they would come out and say honestly, by a new computer in order to play the Sims 4, to get the full experience.

They might even create a world for the Sims 4, where there will be different sim countries that players could go 2, so that way your family sims can really be seperated by the seas. There would be airports, and big time cities.

Probably a put together between SimCity and The Sims I think how they'll approach it. Oh how fun would that be, to have natural disasters in the game, I've always wanted them in the Sims, to have a tornado or earthquake or a big robot stomping throughout the city.  {clap}

Earth Mama

I imagine even more complex characters, gradual aging, hair growth, hair types(from straight to curly and dry to greasy) you can adjust with a slider. Greasy-haired sims will feel the need to take showers or wash their hair more often. You can also adjust body parts, like shoulders, hips, etc. and height. 8)
Lightning will be EVEN better, you will be able to design and build your own objects.

I personally wouldn't like a Sim planet, because it might turn many of us into nerds that can't tell the difference between it and the real world, lol. {blush}  {blink}
I don't want to think about The Sims 4, we haven't even got The Sims 3.
I have moved this thread as the section it was in was The Sims 3.
It would be interesting if they attempted online gameplay. Where neighbourhoods were stored online and you could send your Sims to your real life friends homes.

A bit like The Sims Online but a good version Wink
I think that would be awesome! It sure would make it "real". {lol}
