Okay, so I've been looking for a job since October/November and today I had my first call for a job interview!!! I just got the call! <3<3 It was Petsmart too ^_^ This is my first job and I've been wanting a job since this time last year, but we were moving so I couldn't get one. I REALLY hope I get this job! It's on my way to school and I get to work with animals and retail.
But if I don't get this job, I have about 4 applications that I have to return to the stores, not to mention many other places I've applied to. Those applications were supposed to be returned at the beginning of the month, if it weren't for the snow storm!
Petsmart is fun to work at.
My best friend worked there for a while.

Well, I wanted to give you all an update (Which granted bumps this thread buuuttt....)
The interview went... annoyingly. They were backed up and I was the last person to get interviewed so I had to wait an hour in Doggie Playland in a metal chair o_o (We were getting interviews where Petshotel will be in February)
And then, the interview consisted of 6 questions (where the interviewer talked more than I did) so it was about 5-10 minutes and then when I was supposed to switch people (I was interviewing for 2 jobs apparently) but the other guy was on a phone call that was going to take forever so I never did interview for the Sales Associate job...
So I was told that I would recieve a call by Friday, only that its Saturday and I haven't received ANY call.
SO, if I don't get a call by Monday, I might call the store and ask, but I don't know :/. But whatever happens, they've annoyed my thoroughly o_o They are just really lucky that I had patience that day.

THey are a great place to work for, but they are annoying when it comes to getting back with people.
It makes a good impression if YOU call them, as well. So definately call them asap and see what you need to do
^ Yeah, that's what I heard. Plus, they are really busy trying to get everything set up for Petshotel... which was the position I apparently interviewed for, so the person probably never had a chance to get back to me. I'll call them tomorrow during my lunch break to see what's up. They might have meant next friday when she said this Friday too, so yeah o_o
As it turns out, the positions got filled but they passed on the applications to someone else. But I'm not angry about it or anything. But, I ended up going to my college program's office and they referred me to OSD, which is for people who have disabilities and I got a job as a in class aid for someone for the rest of the term. And I'm also tutoring for money ($20 an hour, ha xD) and so I don't have to worry about getting a job and applying anymore! Oh, and yesterday my friend ended up asking if I could babysit her son on Friday mornings so if that is still a go, then I have 2 more jobs than I wanted originally xD
So yay, no job interviews for a while at least. lol!
