Does anyone have a wii??
I'm getting one this Saturday! I'm so excited!

Same. It's really fun!

I had mine since it came out, and I never play it much, only the few times people come over my house.

It has more multiplayer-friendly titles, and kiddy games, or games acceptable by parents and grandparents.  It isn't good if you plan on playing more serious games.  I really don't like the games coming out for it, as I do the PS3 and 360. 

If you are the kind of person that enjoys FPS and serious games, don't get the Wii.  The only games I really play on it are Mario Kart, Zelda, and Pokemon.  I really haven't bought a game for it for a while.

But overall it's a great system, especially for a crowd.  It's a bad system if you are the kind of person that don't want to wave your arms and stuff each time  you want to play a game, so  you can't play it when you are tired or half sleep.

Everyone I know either don't play their Wiis or turned them in for other systems...but we are all 20-ish and into Halo, and stuff.  My younger cousins seem to enjoy it.

My opinion may be different due to my age though.

It depends on what type of games you like:

Get Wii if you like:  Surf's Up, other disney movies and TV shows, Zelda, Mario games, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Donkey Kong, and a lot of party games.  To me, the Wii isn't really fun unless you have someone to play with, which I never don't.

Don't get it if you like:  God of War, Halo, LittleBigPlanet, "Real" Final Fantasy Games, Resident Evil, and more serious, mature games. 

Then Wii games have the poorer versions of games that come out for all systems, like Star Wars, Wrestling games, games made for all 3 systems, for a better game experience do not get it for the Wii. 

I don't really have no one come over my house, so my Wii sits till someone comes over.

It's best to have 360 or PS3 with the Wii, in my opinion.

But hey, you may enjoy it.  It all depends on the person.

I'm not really into Sci-fi games and stuff like that. I like driving games as well as Mario type games.
I also heard of Wii music... It sounds really cool! I plan to get it as soon as I get the console.  {woot} But I hope it's playable by only one person.  {unsure}

I'm not saying it is a bad system.

I'm just saying do your research on what games come out on it and stuff first.

I just have seen so many people get it and end up unhappy with it.  Then disappointed when a really hot game does not come on the wii or when a game never comes out that suits them.
