TS3 finally gets it's ESRB rating. It is Teen. This is a good sign that the game is on track, because that's one of the final steps...really a huge step to officially making the box and putting the game on CD. (You recognize the rating is stamped on both of them) Also, there is a preview from Gamepro.

Yeah, I just reserved the game at Movie Gallery, and it's just starting to sink in that this game is really coming out.

Since March, I'd always expected a push-back, and surprisingly, one hasn't came for this game. Now that they have the rating, they can make the CD cover and the boxes. Assuming they have the box design, and probably the CD design, there's nothing they can do now but finish the game and put it on CD.
That's a good box art, and I have seen it before. I wish that they'd come out with a more diverse box art, since this game has more diversity. Like obese sims, fat sims, just-right sims, slim sims, old ones, adults, toddlers, etc.
But probably there's a good reason for that cover. Like to attract the teenage-young adult audience--like people around that age who don't know what The Sims is about.
Yeah, it's just to attract people. I mean, that's a lot of cleavage. Which is kind of odd to me, since the majority of Sims players are females. Maybe they're trying to attract more males?
Yeah, the hormonal males. {lol}
But then, a lot of males play dating simulation games, which includes mature activities. Like 7 Sins and other dating sims. So, if they throw some attractive females on that cover, they will attract males who think that they get to bag some attractive females, which they can, but it isn't the typical dating sim with the mature content and actions.
(Not trying to say that boys are all about one thing) Because they are not. But that' my point.
