Okay, so I want to request a day or two off work for when the TS3 comes out. I pre-ordered the CE.
Which days should I ask off? Or I can at least take the lunch shifts. [I work at a restaurant called Shrimp Shack, haha.] That way I could go for four or five hours and then play all night. I don't normally have to go in until 11:30 for lunch shift so I wouldn't have to get up at 5 and collapse or anything.
I know it comes out the 20th, but, when would you guys put your money on it arriving?
I can ask for the 20th and the 21st, or the 21st and the 22nd, I don't know!

Most stores told me their shipping date is the 20th and they will get it on the 21st.
And even if it does come in on the 20th, you will have the whole day of the 21st and 22nd to play it.
I agree with the 21st and the 22nd. You can install it the 20th (if you are able to get it that day) so that it is ready for two whole days of play. That way you don't waste any time your first day off just to get it installed, hopefully installation won't take too long though.

I think i might wait 1 more week till TS3 will arrive to my 'village'. But I dunno... I will check everyday once 20'th of February comes, who knows... But I bet it will arrive on the 27'th at least.
I'm still very mystified by my release date. I live in new zealand, and we usually get games on the same day as australia, so some peopl are saying it will arrive on the 12th, or the 16th. but some people say it will arrive the same day a severyone else. AND on top of that, austrailia doesn't even know when it comes out.
But anyway, i'd agree with the 21st and 22nd. game release dates are never what they seem.
Does it make a difference that I pre-ordered it off Amazon.com?

Well, Amazon did say that they are shipping it out on the 16th.
But it depends on what kind of shipping you got. And lots of other people preordered off of Amazon, so idk if it's first come, first served.
And at jobs, since you a have to plan your days off in advance, to be safe, I'd still choose the 21st and 22nd. Even if you do get it earlier, you can still have those days off.
So instead of having it off earlier, why get the fun over with? Like lets say you get it in on the 18th, and you have off the 19th and 20th. Those days will past, and you don't wanna part, and on the 21st and 22nd, you'd wish you can be with the game. But on the 21st and 22nd, you will already have the gameplay in your head, have a family, or sim, and can play with it without trying to figure things out that much.

I only requested nights off though. Those tend to drag on and then I would be too tired to play when I get home. And if I worked nights and requested days off, I would only have a little bit too play before I had to start getting ready. But asking two whole days off completely back to back is hard because it's still season and we're too busy.
