Hey, I am thinking about getting a new laptop but I have no idea which one to get.  I'm not exactly great with computers when it comes to picking one so I was wondering if you all could help give me some suggestions. 

Obviously, I would like it to run TS3 easily, preferably with room to spare. 

I have been looking at HP laptops and they seem good, I just don't know which is better.  Any other brands are acceptable too though. 

Also, I would prefer the price to stay around $800-$1,000 but if that's not possible for a laptop that will run TS3 then just post a link to one that will run TS3.

Please post any possible laptops that you know of that fit what I'm looking for and thanks in advance!

Definately check Dell. They have pretty good customer support and wonderful computers. All of our computers are dells now because all of our HPs kept breaking on us. But it looks like the HP Pavilion dv7t would work, you'd just have to make sure you choose 2, 3, or 4 DDR2 System Memory. (aka RAM)

But basically, since you aren't very good at looking at all the specs, you want to have the TS3 specs up and then look at each laptop. Compare everything together and if it matches or if the number is higher, it'll work. I wish I had more time to see which one is better, but I can only offer suggestions :/.

the suggestions are great!  Thanks for the info.  I probably can't get a dell though because my dad has something against them but I'm not sure why (haven't asked) so I have no idea why but I do know he's not a huge fan of them.  I'll look at that HP computer and some others then and thanks again.  Karma for you!

Yeah, Dell can also get pretty expensive, but I was actually looking for the HP netbook and I saw a review or something, but it said that the dv4t series was REALLY good.

ok well I will look into it.  Laptop shopping is so time consuming to find the perfect laptop at a price you are willing to pay.  The best part is when you find the perfect one!
