I have been looking at laptops and I have come down to these two.

Would either of these two not work with TS3?

The more expensive one is probably better but if the less expensive one would work well please let me know.  It all depends on what my dad is willing to help pay for so idk which one I can get.

If you have one of these let me know how it runs TS2 (if you play it on it) and let me know if you think it would easily support TS3.

Thanks in advance for any advice and/or answers to my questions!
With link #1, it looks like it would work except maybe the graphic card. I don't know how TS3 would run with an Intel Graphics Accelerator.

It looks like link #2 would work pretty well too, since it has a Nvidia Geforce.

But now that I'm looking, the processor might slow it down if the processor speed is 2.4 Ghz and both of the laptops are 2.0 Ghz. But I can't be too sure. But I'm not very good at determining the speed of the processors and if it'd work or not. Someone else should be able to help with that.
I really wouldn't rely on any normal non-gaming laptop to run any sims games. Although it may run the game, performance is likely to be very low. Long load times, blurry graphics, choppy refresh rate.

And keep in mind most demanding games like the sims have different minimum requirements for Vista machines...

This is the Laptop I just recently bought^^^^

Alienware is pretty much the best when it comes to gaming!! 8) {alien}
I just got a laptop similair to the one in the first link yesterday and it works good and its fast and the cd drive is fast so sims 3 will probably install fast and i already download one game and it still works like i just got it and today i think im gonna put about 3 ir 4 sims 2 games on it and i will let you know. You should go with with the first link laptop.
I would go with a gaming laptop.
HP do one over in UK so I am sure over in the US they would.
The second one looks like the gaming one that we have here.
I would go with that one as its 3GB and also dual core which is what my desk top is and its fantastic.

Best of Luck with it.
ok, thanks for the input, I looked at the links and those looked good.  I'm not great when it comes to picking laptops for gaming since I've only had desktops so anyway I will probably look more into those links since those looked good.  Thanks again!
the sims 2 works awesome on my laptop cause i barely have to wait for it to load, there is no lagging, good graphics, and this is just my laptop but it makes the sims look taller so i would still go with the first link but that is just me.
ok, well I am still looking around but I hope to find and get one soon.
I hope you find one and sims 2 works great on it
