I installed House Party earlier and it worked fine. Then when i close the file and tried to open it again it told me to uninstall. SO I did and now I cant install house party!! Can anyone tell me the steps to install expansion packs in the Sims deluxe? I even erased everything did the same steps but everytime i try to play it tells me this "It has come to our attention that you have installed another Sims expansion pack after the sims deluxe edition. For this to work propertly The Sims deluxe installer will now update your installation! Help

Apparently with the Sims 1, you need to install them in order. But I guess if it says that it needs to update your game, I would think you would be fine but I can't be too sure...
What comes with The Sims Deluxe?
This is what comes with Sims Deluxe: The Sims, The SIms Living LArge, The SIms Creator, and some Deluxe Content. The problem that Im having is once I install the expansion packs they only work once. So its all good when I first install the expansion packs but when I close the game window and reboot it it tells me to update the game again(because of the expansions) so I do and then it asks me to uninstall the sims deluxe so I do and when I reinstall the expansions dont work anymore, and it just becomes one giant circle of me installing and uninstalling! {cursing} What am I doing wrong??? What can I do??
Do you have any of the games installed besides using Deluxe?
What do you mean other games? Like other PC games or sims games?
so no one knows what might be the problem...

So did you click OK to update the installation?
