Will we have to buy all new expansions...AGAIN?
Ive spent a lot of money on those damn sims 2 exansions.
Now sims 3 and they are worthless...?
It'd be nice if they stuck to one version...lol
Anyone elses ideas?
yeah, i'm kind of worried about that
i'd only just bought freetime when all the sims 3 hype started up
now it feels like a bit of a waste =[
They should at least put in weather in the basic game... But I am sure they wont put any anymals in it..
but strays are esstianal to cities

It's gonna be a year until Sims 3 comes out. So we'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the fact we spend money on Sims 2 - and fill up our piggybanks for Sims 3.
Yeah, but dont you think its kinda dumb to make a ton of cool stuff and then buy it all (like i did)

There's no way that could work, I'm afraid. It takes a lot more than an expansion to be able to do what Sims 3 allows you to do - it takes a new basic game to build on - a whole new system.
But yeah, I agree. It's a lot of money and it such, that we can't just keep playing our old families and have all the possibilities the expansions packs offers. But I think (hope) that it will be worth it.

Well, think of it like this, its not a waste if you are enjoying it right? And you can still play Sims 2 after Sims 3 comes out.
Well do you think they are gunna make a lot of expansions for sims 3?
And what exactly is so great about sims 3?
i think they look kinda weird
lol but i like the neighborhood idea and the tall/short and skinny/fat thing
