Check this picture of the interior of the home...

Notice the TV in the bedroom is centered between the bed. Hmmmm…
Can you find any other proof of this grid phenomenon? 

That the nightstand in the living room is tilted. But yeah, they already, indeed, changed the gridding system. They made it smaller, and centerable.

The white dresser in the bedroom is rotated, but not going through the walls~
And the dining tables+chairs. Everything is alot better  ;D

that picture looks like its from one of the console games.. yuck
