I've tried to go on Youtube to find out how to get cool hairstyle and new cool clothes, but the cheat code doesn't work for me. Where should I go or what is the cheatcode? Thanks for any help!

There is no cheat code for new clothes and hairstyles.  If you're talking about Custom Content, you have to download that stuff from other websites.

Modthesims2.com is a good one, so is Raonsims, XMSims, PeggySims and several others.
