The reason I haven't updated my Legacy is because I cannot get the game to run, and when I do get it to run, after 10 minutes my entire computer locks up.  I am going to try uninstalling/reinstalling the entire game.

Removing all traces of CC, and being much more selected with the next lot.  I'll probably only use Default Eye replacements, lip glosses and eye liner.  I'm not going to go for a bunch of hair and clothes and furniture like before.  Although I will be re-downloading the Maxis Made CC from the Sims Store place.

I'm sorry, but all my legacies are done.  I might try making another one ... later.  But for now, I just don't have the heart to get attached to another one.  I think I'll stick to playing fjust or fun for a while.  Sorry guys, I really am.  But something with my game is really screwed up and this is the only way I can think to fix it.  I'll let you know when I've completed reinstalling.

My game would mess up for a while, and I reinstalled it, and I downloaded all my CC and the game was back running normally. TBH the only CC to use would be the stuff on TS2 website. It's the best for in-game use.

OT: I unfogged the eggs, they weren't sick anymore.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm just going to stick to the stuff from TS2 website, except for some CC eyes (I hate the ones that come with the game TBH) and some make-up (lip glosses and eyeliners, because again the default stuff is lame, lol) but I am not going over board like I did before.  I had so much CC and I hardly used any of it!

Lesson learned, I guess :3

I'll have a whole new fresh start.  All my sims will be untouched, when I make custom neighborhoods, all the Binned Sims will be there, and a lot of the lots I deleted from the game will be in the Binned Lots too, so I can actually make a nicer custom neighborhood, which I haven't been able to do in a long, long time.

I know how it feels Jen, I lost my game suddenly and with it lost CC & my loved legacy and was extremely unhappy.
I didn't reinstall straight away because I would have got no fun from it, I;d be too angry, so I didn't play the game for a good 2 or 3 months. Now I'm addicted again though.
Try not to be too down about it. It'll seem crappy at first, but the fun will come back. But don't force yourself to get into it like I did.

I built a new house already for fun, and have started working on a new custom neighborhood, which has helped me a bit.  I really miss my families, but I'm debating starting a new one.  I've got a poll going over in the legacy and family stories area to see what others think/feel about it.

I was very angry, but reinstalling every few months is pretty routine for me anymore.  Such a shame, really.  But, I do what I have to do, you know?  Heh.
