With the Sims 3 coming quickly and so much information revealed about how you can customize your Sims, what sort of Sim do you plan on making, or will you perhaps start off from scratch and see where it takes you.
I'm starting from scratch, I just want to let creativity and impulse take over when I make my first ever Sim, and see what the result is. But I have other Sims planned that I'd like to create later in the game. Nothing too precise, though. Creativity is the key. Smile
Im going to make most of my sims from scratch.
Im definately making Gemma Ward,  because I always make her. And im thinking about making Caroline Trentini, Lara Stone, Natasha Poly, Kate Moss, and Natalia Vodianova. Maybe Siri Tollerod.

Sunset Valley is going to be full of models it looks like! {lol}
I am going to make my sister, I think she would be fun to play with. Grumpy and hates everything, I am sure she showers fully clothed.  Smile
I am going to let my impulse and excitement make my fisrt one Smile    And let me tell you, IT WILL BE ONE CRAZY SIM
I'll probably do the same as most, start with a completely random Sim and see where it goes. Somewhere down the line though, i want to make a Sim like Marcella ( TheSims3.EA.Com ) You know, sweet normal life, but with a criminal job.
I think I'll make a fat alien XD
I really want to try and make a Simself that's a lot more realistic.  Since you can make Sims much larger in TS3 it'll be interesting to see how close I can get :3

I usually let my creative juices flow and start with a random sim. It's usually an attractive, single lady sim in which I design her to the "T" build and design her home, get her a job, and find her a mate. Of course with the new game- I can do much more and spend more time creating a story for her especially with the careers and life time wishes options. Eventually I'll create a single male and do it all over again, experience with the traits, and then after I've tired of the sims and their families- I'll start designing full families and start getting more creative. But first is always from scratch. I only make sims generated sims if I wan to make a movie or want a random townine to marry my sim.
I'm going to do like you Sims3Luva, my first Sim will be a single female, young adult, and I'll go through the stages, getting her a house, a job, a boyfriend etc, but then I'm definitely going to do the same again, except this time with a single male with a different personality, see how the experience differs.

I'm gonna time how long I'll be in the CAS for the first time. I'm betting it'll be a looooong time. If it's anything under 2 hours I'll be shocked. I mean, I can still spend more than that in CAS in TS2 occasionally, though not on ONE Sim alone. Tongue
