Hey guys,
I see a lot of people here asking about graphics card, is it good is it worth the money etc. Well I'm going to give you a list of graphics cards, and what is worth buying in a certain price range. I will be using NewEgg for the US because they tend to get prices right. Lets get started:
$50 - The GeForce 8600 GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130297) wins this one, performing similarly to the Radeon HD 3650, but slightly better.
$75 - Although $6 cheaper, the Radeon HD 4670 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814161252) THRASHES anything near this price range.
$100 - ATI once again win with the Radeon HD 4850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814161252) having GTS 250 performance at 9800 GT price!
$200 - For this price range it comes down purely one which brand you prefer; Either get a GeForce GTX 275 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...rder=PRICE) or Radeon HD 4890 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...rder=PRICE).
$300 - $400 - A definate no-brainer here. The Radeon HD 4870X2 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814102768) comes in at the second card by a slight margin for $75 cheaper! No point spending any more money at this point!
