I've recently come across the Sims 2 for the PC, and I greatly enjoy it.
My favorite neighborhood has to be Veronaville.
I favor, as the subject of the topic says, Medieval/Tutor Style houses, public areas, etc.
I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on public spaces to add.
I've already got a 'Grand Market' which is basically a gigantic courtyard filled with the sales kiosks.

Anyother Ideas?
How about a Swimming Pool area?  Like a YMCA style?  With work-out machines and the like to give your sims a place to go and get fit if they're too poor to afford something themselves yet.
Well it also depends on if you got Extension packs with it too...

you can have alot more choice with EP's Smile

Like for example in Night Life you can have nightclubs and resturants
