How much is Sims 3 going to cost, and when is it going to be released for the PC in the USA? Is there an official date and price yet?

2 YEARS?! All I heard was that it was coming in 2009 which is 1 year, not 2. I CAN'T WAIT 2 YEARS!
well, one of the proposed dates was December 15 2009 which is almost 2 years. year and a half, I guess.
I heard somewhere that it was coming in April 2009 (about a year) but I was checking on here to see if that was a rumor or it was really true.
just read a press release from EA; it should be out sometime in 2009, don't worry.
Okay, I hope we get an official date (or at least month) soon.

most of the sites are saying late march...no word on price yet...probably somewhere between $50.00-70.00
real shame about the price of games these days, but oh well.
