...help?

Okay, so my 18th birthday is on October 15th... my double-graduation from High School and College is sometime in June.

...and I want parties for both of them.

I only have one problem though. I want to plan a party where I only have a few friends, and their families. The ages of my friends range from 18-25, an 18/19 girl, someone is is 21 with a who-knows-how-old husband, another 25 with a boyfriend (I don't know how old he is either xD) and she also has a 2 yr old son. And depending on when his three-month-oversees trip (probably over my birthday, so sigh xD) a 20-something guy. And this doesn't include anyone else I manage to get emails from in the next term(s) and any of my previous friends, if I can find their emails again.

So I'm in quite a pickle. Before, with my other birthday parties, I'd just invite everyone over and just play games and stuff. My last party, sweet 16th, was a surpirse party with like 3 friends at my large house, but my new house is barely large enough to have 1 person over, let alone 5-10 xD I'm also horrible with crowds, note the party size (Kindergarten Halloween birthday party where we invited everyone (all 28/29) kids over from my class + parents = disaster from me since I ignored people because there were too many of them xD).

So does ANYONE have ANY ideas at all? I'm thinking about for one of the parties to have it at my favorite bowling alley, since I've always wanted a bowling party but could never have one due to transportation issues. But I don't want BOTH at the bowling alley. I would just prefer to have at least the majority of the party away from the house. I have to think of Riley too, poor kitty is afraid of strangers.

And the funny part about this is that I have like 4 cities that I can choose things from, one is a major city (bigger than the freaking capital of the state. That's major xD), 2 of them semi-major suburb area with lots to offer and the other one (the one that I live in) is just stuck right in the middle, in fact, it isn't even called a city nor a town, its just THERE. But nonetheless, lots of things and places to choose from, but not really for small groups.

Even if you have no ideas, thanks for listening to my nervous ranting. I wish I lived in CO again, I'd know exactly what I would want with all of my wonderful friends xD Here, I'm LUCKY to have friends. Now only to entertain them xD

(P.S. Too bad real life isn't like the sims, I'd just build a community lot with a bunch of crap and rent it out to me for free xD Har har har)
Ooh, maybe a YMCA party!  The one here has a pool and all that stuff Smile  If you have one, that would be good for small groups or big groups, and you don't have to socialize with everyone because they will all be doing different stuff Smile
I know we have one somewhere, we mostly have 24 hour fitnesses xD
I honestly do not know, LOL. For my birthday I just sat around, got a pedicure, then went out to eat, so IDK. I can ask Yahoo! Answers for you though or you could do it yourself XD
Randomness:

- Go Swimming
- Go out to eat
- Go bowling (as you mentioned)
- Go mini putting x]
- Have a picnic with games and sports
- Walk downtown and do whatever interests you on the way
-(If you like shopping) Go shopping with the girls and meet up with the boys at a restaurant.
- Go to an arial park
- Go camping x] (a little late for that)
- Go on a vacation and stay at a hotel. and/or just go to a hotel for the night.
- Day Spa
- Go Karts
- Horse back riding
- Ice Skating/Roller Skating
- Movie
- Water Park
- Paint Ball

Hope that helps some Smile
We've thought about camping, but I don't think anyone camps xD And there's this place near us with mini-golfing, arcade, and that sort of stuff that we've been thinking about. So we might go with that.

Thanks for your large list <3
Haha, no problem Smile
Go to the park or beach and swim in the pool/ocean and cook up a barbecue sorry i'm not good with parties I usually just chillax and eat at my parties  {yawn}
We've decided to go bowling, then have a cook out at my house for my 18th, but we still have no idea for graduation Tongue

Now I'm stressing out on the theme crap xD It's October, the only "good" thing is halloween, but I despise the holiday xD And there's nothing that's personalized for 18th b-days in the US. All of it is in the UK, from what I've seen xD
How about 'dress up as the first letter of your name' theme.

Idk. XD
