i recently bought the sims 2 dvd rom game for my laptop and have been thinking about buying sum expansion packs. im realli interested in the university add on but every case i see of it says "pc cd rom" on the cover, will that game still work with the dvd rom version of the game?
any help with this wud be much appreciated.

Yes it should... and I agree Seasons instead of Univ. which isn't that great.
im sorry this might just be me.. but i personally get annoyed by the way they walk. and University isnt really that fun soo.. yea
Uni gets boring rather quickly.
I have all expansions for Sims 2 and some came on cd and some on dvd.
University can both be fun and boring but it depends what you let the sims do on their free time. It's maybe not the best EP but it DOES add fun to the game. I love the cow mascots, but it's a 75% chance you will hate them.

Just buy the expansion you want.. My favorites are Seasons and Open for Bussiness, I recomend you those expansion packs too..
University expansion pack its really cool, but its cooler with Seasons expansion pack, Snow... Rain... Leaves falls down... When its raining some trees burn with the beams, its REALLY intresting playing both at the same time.. But its your choise...
Just 1 thing.. I think University Expansion pack its really nice.. I recommend it to you..
