My tomato crop is such a failure this year. I tried planting a different variety of seeds and they haven't turned out very well. Perhaps the weird weather didn't help. Out of five plants I have produced only two fruits! There is a very tiny one visible, but even that would only make three fruits total. They're all on the same plant, too, so four plants were total failures.

It is roasting, but all the back windows have to be shut because our neighbour a few doors along decided as she's two broken paving slabs in her back garden, all her slabs need replacing because the ground is "bumpy".

The ground is bumpy as she has an old tree in her garden with big roots pushing up her puny slabs over time. Telling her that is a waste of time, she knows better.

There's big clouds of grey dust floating merrily along in the breeze, which with the very misty drizzle we're having (weird weather, roasting yet sort of raining) is sticking to our next door neighbour's washing and a few other people's in the dust's flightpath as well probably. How to win friends and influence people.

So what I'm thinking right now is our neighbour will disappear sometime tonight & only be rediscovered many years later buried under her lovely new paving slabs when the tree pushes up those slabs again.
