Ah, neds. I don't miss them. Once a bunch of them threw rocks at a car I was in while we were driving through Niddrie. Fair bit of damage to the car and nearly a big hole in my head!
Well done to the pilot. Probably acted on instinct in what must of been a terrifying few last moments. It's amazing the kind of bravery a person can be capable of in such circumstances.
I hope that Minty is all right in the big storm up there and Ollie's family has found a house over in Oz!
News please, people!
Really bizarre weather up here - it goes from black sky & mad gales to bright & sunny to cold & snow, to rain, to hailstones, to galeforce winds again, to deathly still. All in the morning alone! The afternoon was much the same. Everywhere north of Stirling is mental apparantly.
This may be the year the EU gets its fingers out for grants for electric substations for places like Iona where a cut out of energy can be little short of disaster. It's ridiculous in this age that you can have places a relative few miles away from major centres of population finding themselves cut off from civilisation because of the weather.
Yes, Ollie has not logged on here for days, hope everything's OK.
Ah there you are, Minty. Glad you are all right. The news is showing a lot of storm damage in the north, with flooding all round the coast forecast for tonight.
I tweeted Ollie yesterday but he's not been on twitter for several days. He is probably just very busy, especially as house move must now be imminent. Hopefully he will check in soon.
Went out for a burger after work and was nearly caught up in a riot, with coppers and helicopters galore! It is crazy out on the streets. I am becoming more of a hermit with every passing moment!
Call off the search and return to base! Ollie has just returned from a camp, it would seem. I really must stop being such a clucking hen over you two.
I am thinking that it's always a bit weird when, as an adult, you wake up in the bed you slept in as a child. Yes, I'm home for Christmas. Yay! Weather seems a bit wild up here!
how could I name my new family on sims 3
Well this is marvellous. The wind has been so loud I have not slept al night. My brother got up for work at five this morning and I'm wondering whether to get up too. Normally I can sleep through anything! Hmmmmm what to do.... maybe stay in bed as at least it's warm here.
I'm thinking, FOOOOOOD....FOOOOOOOOOOD....AND COFFFEEEEEEEEEE.
