Well, I just noticed that the weekly poll comes the day after Valentine's day and that's too late
to ask a question about it. Also I know that this will probably go off topic so I just generalized it to
the v-day thread.

So the question is:

Boo, Valentine's Day. A day of hardship and acceptance. This is the day where the 'truth' hurts....

I've been single all my life. So I'm not so into caring about relationships.
I think it's cute when couples get things for one another. Whether that'd be gifts or STDs {rolleyes}

I love sappy love movies. It's fun to watch ^_^

chick flicks suck and the romance, WTH? Stuff like that never happens. Like Dear John, omg, shoot me.

They can. Yeah sure not like THAT. But there are cute romantic stories that are similar to movies.

Example;
my friend Melissa, her father meet her mom while he was stationed in the Phillipnes(sp?) and they fell in love. He told her he'd come back for her. And he did a few years later, and they went to Hawaii and got married and so forth.

That's so romantic and it's a real life story.
Btw Dear John, I heard it's a bit depressing.
